Committed to the belief that every life is valuable, the mission of Angels’ Place, Inc., a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, is to provide single parents who are low-income, full-time students with the help needed to complete their education, so that they may secure satisfying employment, establish careers and become self-sufficient citizens.Through no-pay child care and family support programs that embody the best practices of education, family and child development, Angels’ Place provides a loving, nurturing, safe and healthy environment that every parent and child deserves.
The Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program provides Pennsylvania tax credits to businesses that make a contribution to a Pre-Kindergarten Scholarship Organization (PKSO) such as Angels’ Place. A contribution of up to $10,000 that you send to Angels' Place results in a dollar-for-dollar tax credit. Contributions fund scholarships for Angels' Place preschool children.
A business contributing to Angels’ Place through the EITC Program can be awarded a Pennsylvania tax credit which may be applied against its tax liability for that year for:
• Corporate Net Income Tax
• Capital Stock Franchise Tax
• Bank and Trust Company Shares Tax
• Title Insurance Companies Shares Tax
• Insurance Premiums Tax
• Mutual Thrift Institution Tax
• Insurance Company Law of 1921
• Personal Income Tax of S Corporation shareholders or Partnership partners.
July 1, 2014, tax credits will be available. Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis and typically the available tax credits are exhausted very soon.
